R&D Software Development Engineer (Location: Shanghai)

Responsibilities:
- - Design and deliver software components as a member of a software project team
- - Execute module ownership responsibilities (maintaining code integrity and quality, consulting on extension to module, design and/or implement extensions)
- - Collaborate with SW team, applications and field team colleagues to troubleshoot problems, fulfill customers’ enhancement requests
- - Aware of business needs, contribute to plan and execute to fulfill customer needs and positively contribute to Advantest business
- - Strong organizational skill to work with cross-functional teams in requirements analysis, architecture and high-level design
- - Assist his/her project manager to partially or fully take on parts of project management processes (planning and execution)
- - Take on assignments that contribute to departmental initiatives (knowledge sharing, etc)



Qualifications:
- Master or excellent bachelor graduates majored in Computer Scienceor related.
- Willing to learn the state-of-the-art technologies, continually update and upgrade software knowledge (C++, Java, Eclipse, Linux, GUI design) as required
- Excellent knowledge of fundamental data structures and algorithms
- Practices modern software methodology and skills (OOA&D, Agile/SCRUM, etc) to improve efficiency and quality
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good communication skills in English, including spoken, listening, and writing
- Fast learner, good team work
- Take responsibility for delivery and schedule and shows initiatives
- Basic knowledge on electronic engineering is preferred
